My interest in diving sparked at an early age while watching "Sea Hunt" and "The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau". I received my Open Water and Advanced Open Water certification in 1973 while attending Baylor University and continued my diving education by becoming certified as a Rescue Diver, a Divemaster and attaining several Specialties before becoming an Instructor. I enjoy working with all levels of students and enjoy diving with my wife Jill, who is also an Instructor.
I am an avid diver having dove in a wide variety of locations including the Great Barrier Reef, Fiji, Roatan and Utila Honduras, Cozumel, British Virgin Islands, Bonaire, Bahamas, Gulf of California near La Paz Baja California, Nova Scotia, Grand Cayman, Texas Flower Gardens, Manzanillo Mexico and as many Texas and Oklahoma lakes, rivers and quarries as possible. I share my passion for scuba diving with as many people as possible. I hope my enthusiasm toward diving is contagious to both new and experienced divers and they not only continue their dive experiences by getting underwater as often as possible, but also see the importance of continued education as a diver.
Favorite place to dive: Great Barrier Reef and Utila Honduras
